Integration and Application
Chinese
In my Chinese class, after my first course in that class i learned most of the Chinese basic words and sentences that could help us start a conversation. Not only that our teacher took us to China town on Chinese New Years and gave us a survey with simple questions to ask people and after that we had to put down there answers in Chinese. So basically the paper was to help us start a conversation with people who spoke Chinese it was hard but really fun because they spoke English to so they would tell us if we were saying or pronouncing something. wrong. I also can apply this to when i go to Chinese restaurants i can order my food in Chinese.

Financial Literacy
In financial literacy, I learned a lot of stuff about financing and other stuff. But, the main thing that I got out of it was budgeting. In the picture on the right hand side is a document that shows the assignment that I turned in about budgeting. I learned ways to better save my money and I applied it to the small income that I attributed. This actually helped me a lot because I'm actually now a really good savor. For my New Zealand trip i worked all summer and only bought the things i needed not wanted then the rest of the money went to my savings. In the end i saved a total of four thousand dollars.

University of Utah Essay
In my English class, I had to write a self narrative for my teacher and in that self narrative, I wrote about wanting to go to the University of Utah. It was just a dream for me at the time but when my teacher got back to me, she told me to apply and to make my dream a reality. So from one teacher caring about my future, I decided to apply for the U of U. But unfortunately i will be attending SLCC for a year and then serving my mission then when i come back i will transfer to the U and complete my dream.
